Welcome to the New Mexico Alliance for School-Based Health Care!

A School-Based Health Center (SBHC) is an accessible, friendly place located in a school where students can receive a wide variety of health care services. Across America, SBHCs are providing medical and behavioral health services, serving over a million students each year.

• New Mexico Receives Honorable Mention for Leadership by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (MS Word doc)
• Funding opportunity for SBHCs! (MS Word doc) The NM DOH Division of Policy and Performance will provide up to four mini-grant awards of up to $5,000 to support youth to produce teen pregnancy prevention videos.   Proposals are due on or before September 22, 2008 by at 4:30 p.m. (MS Word doc)
