Do any of you miss or still have an old school Nintendo?

I just recently bought my friend’s Nintendo. The first one that came out in I think, 1991. I think I like it better. All these new ones are cool with the 3D, more levels and all, but the old ones are still good. These Playstation controls have so many buttons! I just want to ask you folks that had one back then, if you still like it, like it better, or miss it.

We have one at the house. My girlfriend can get through the original Mario Bros. game in about 20 – 30 minutes with all of the shortcuts and stuff… it blows my mind. Great game system, and fun question! (BTW – I also want one of the new Wii systems. They intrigue me.)

Does an old-school Nintendo game look terrible on a high-def TV?

I want to by an old-school Nintendo or Super Nintendo just for fun. But it’s been so long since I’ve played them that I don’t remember how bad the resolution is. I only have a high-def TV. Are the games going to look horrible on it? Will it be too blurry and pixelated to enjoy?

I’ve been playing old games on my Wii for a while now. The games will look a little blurry, but it isn’t nearly as bad as you’d think.
